Mount Vernon HOA Pine Beetle Mitigation Project

The Mount Vernon Home Owner’s Association of Evergreen/Golden CO was facing a pine beetle outbreak, and needed an arborist team with deep knowledge of foothills ecosystems, and the skill to remove over 60 large pine trees with minimal impact on the surrounding environment.

Our team was able to identify, fell, and manage all infected trees at our designated sites before the beetles could fly to new trees. Our work sites included steep inclines, and long drags for hauling out wood, all within a conservation area where heavy machinery was not an option.

    Brian Erickson

  • “Paul did an amazing job trimming up and cleaning the overgrown tree in my front yard. They were fast, efficient and I especially appreciated the thorough cleanup afterwards. My trees look healthier and safer and I will definitely be using them again in the future!”

    Oscar Tsao

  • “Paul did a great job removing one tree and doing a big trim on another for us. They were thoughtful in their approach, taking time to ensure that my garden and landscaping didn’t take any collateral damage.”

    Josh Erickson

  • “Had a great experience with Colorado Leaf and Limb! They were communicative from start to finish, offered fair pricing, and worked quickly without sacrificing quality. The team was professional, efficient, and left everything clean when they were done. Highly recommend their services!“

    Evan Lickert

  • “Leaf and Limb set up a safe area, cleared out dead and errant branches and hauled it away. Their work was efficient and didn't damage garden beds below. They were communicative with me the whole time about the project and got the job done to satisfaction.“

    Bob Frichtel

  • “My compliments on the tree trimming job performed by Paul. They were very prompt, professional and caring for my property. They were always checking with me about the tree trimming and my satisfaction. Their charge for the work was very reasonable in fact I paid Them more than they charged me. The tree they trimmed for me is a 50 foot Maple, so they can get high in the tree’s. They cleaned their work and left the area clean. I was very satisfied with their work and will use them again. I would highly recommend them for trimming your trees. Small but great company.”

When safety, precision, and long-term outcomes matter, we are the team to call

We are A two-person, owner-operated arborist team specializing in technical tree work where large crews and heavy machinery aren’t the right solution.

Our work is led by an ISA Certified Arborist with deep roots in Colorado’s unique ecosystem — its native species, its soils, its climate — and the demands they place on the trees around your home.

Being a small, hands-on team means continuity from start to finish. The same two people who assess the job are the ones up in the tree and on the ropes, which matters a lot for hazardous removals, where the margin for error is small and trust matters even more.

Precise. Environmentally conscious. Honest. We show up, we communicate clearly, and we leave your property — and its ecosystem — better than we found it.
